How are new email triggers published, or soft launched?
After you choose to publish a new trigger, it will be submitted for approval.
We spot check and approve new triggers for you to make sure there aren't any issues.
Also, when publishing new triggers, the sending volume will increase gradually. This is because it's not uncommon for there to be a minor issue or two in the email content - sometimes a typo or coupon code integration issue - and it's helpful to find those issues early before hundreds of emails have gone out:
The sending volume is determined as follows:
- Day 0 - 1 email
- Day 1 - 3 emails
- Day 2 - 10 emails
- Day 3 - 20 emails
- Day 4 - 40 emails
- Day 5 - 80 emails
- Day 6 - 100 emails
- Day 7 - 150 emails
- Day 8 - 200 emails
After day 8, there's basically no cap, although the system will generally not send more than a thousand emails per day.
