How do I handle the API connection error notifications?

If you get an email notification about consecutive API failures for MageMail, that means that the API connection has failed multiple times in a row.

In some cases you may want to increase or decrease the threshold by which you get an email notification - the default is 5.  You can do that in the settings:

In general the email notification should contain some details about the reason for the failure.  If the error message gives you enough information to resolve it on your end, you can do that and re-test the API connection to see if it's working.
